Kingdom Principle: How To Live Abundantly NOW...No Matter Where You Are

DTS 2 | Living Abundantly

This show highlights my ability to move past some of the most trying times I've ever had to experience. It was a time in my life when I experienced homelessness. And although I was trying to exhibit positivity and willpower, it wasn't until I truly began to live with the "mindset" of Christ and "in" Him that I was able to move past what I was seeing in the "natural." This mind shift caused me to experience abundance even though my environment had not changed, thus reminding me that in Christ, every need is met.

Kingdom Principle: How To Live Abundantly NOW...No Matter Where You Are

3 Keys To Assist You In the Process

Hey, Ty.

What's up, Nic?

You already know what time it is.

It's time for the Dr. Tongie Show.

DTS 2 | Living Abundantly

Shame on me for getting stuck in traffic. I swear to you, this was not planned. I am not a diva. I am here to serve and not to be served. We're from the beautiful country of St. Lucia right here in the Caribbean. Thank you. You know how we start this show. Thank you, Facebook. Thank you, Instagram. Thank you, audience, on Kiss FM 105.9. We've got an app that you can listen to. My gentle giant is going to bring all that to you because I truly forgot the name of the app.

I could understand. I can understand why you would forget the app, especially now, because it is her birthday. We want to take time out to wish you all the best on your birthday. I'm hoping that you're going to have a good birthday.

I've been dancing since 4:01. I kid you not, I got up and started dancing. I was dancing because I got up. I was dancing because he trusts us with this thing called life. I am so grateful. Thank you, Mr. Patrick Smith, Mr. Steve Etienne, and my guy, Mr. Peter Jones, for allowing me to come through the ear gates of some amazing people in this amazing country. I am truly grateful for the shoulders that I get to stand on. Thank you for trusting me seriously.

If this is your first time tuning in to the show, this show is truly about encouraging you. It's about motivating you. Hopefully, I've said something to inspire you to get out of your way. Get into your purpose and His purpose for your life. It's about you being committed and living the life that you are destined to live. If you do not know, the show is founded on Kingdom Principles and a kingdom as it relates to all things, God is His invisible government. It is His domain. Heaven is, and it's where His lifestyle, morality, laws, and principles are given to us so that we can live that life that He talks about and our Big Brother talks about living the abundant life.

When you think about a principle, I want you to think about the original intent of God's Word. It is written in the Constitution. We call it the Bible. We do not add to it. We do not take away from it. We go through that wonderful words and we apply them to our lives. No matter where you may find yourself, it works. What can you expect from the show? You can expect honesty, openness, and sincerity.

One thing I've learned with that system is you don't give an opinion in this life. Sometimes we want to give you a piece of our mind and give you an opinion. That's not what we do here. We want a community fostered in love and a community that shows where when you apply actionable goals to your life, you can see yourself grow. We all want to grow.

It's about business empowerment. I'm a businesswoman. If you know anything about me, I've made so many mistakes in business. I've got this book coming up called, What Not to Do in Business, seriously. I want you to do a huge favor for me. This is important to me because a lot of people will ask, "How can I find the show?" It's people like you that go onto social media, whether it is Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or TikTok. I've got a handle called @DrTongieShow and YouTube too. If you would like, to share, and comment, your way of supporting the show is that. I read the comments, and sometimes it takes me a minute to respond.

I am truly grateful for everyone that takes the time to support me and this show because this is a dream come true. I'm not going to cry. In a few seconds, we're going to talk about something when I was asking God, "What do I say to these amazing, wonderful people that you've allowed me to come into their lives?" He simply said, "Tell them how to live abundantly now no matter where they are." Stay tuned. We're going to get into it. I love you.

You did ask me about the app. When you go to the Play Store, search Caribbean Hot FM. There, you will find the app includes Hot FM, Kiss FM, and Hot7 TV.

When I saw it, it looks good. I was like, "What? I'm on an app?"

That's right. You can find all three in one. It's a slide away. That's how it works.

How cool is that? Thank you so very much. My gentle giant, I've got chill bumps here. Before we get into this Kingdom Principle, I said it on one of my montages, but Mrs. Frances Stewart from Columbus, Mississippi, thank you so very much. I talked to my Mama. You better be reading, Lady. She told me that whenever she sees you, you're always asking, "How's my girl? I loved her show."

For you to say something like that to me, blessed my soul because I remember so vividly when you would allow my children to come to the daycare center and play. They had a sense of peace in the midst of some storms that we were going through. You had no idea how tough it was, but you blessed me and you still are. I love you so very much. Thank you so very much for the life that you live.

Let's get into this Kingdom Principle because this is one that truly will move you. I know it will because it still does me. This is an amazing day. The reason why it's so amazing is because we got up. For all of those who have an opportunity to hear my voice, we got up. The beautiful thing about getting up is that God has already gone before us. I used to take things and people for granted, and I didn't do it on purpose, but I was ignorant of the promise.

Our big brother, Jesus Christ made a promise to us. He said, "I am come that you may have life and have it more abundantly." What I've learned is that life is not predicated on us being perfect. It is not predicated on us getting out of our mess. If you've ever been in a mess, you know what I'm talking about. No matter what state that you may find yourself in, that promise still resonated and it still is for us. That's the beautiful thing about how God does a thing. The word abundant means something. I'm getting ahead of myself, so let me slow it down.

DTS 2 | Living Abundantly

Once upon a time, not too long ago, I was homeless. I've been homeless a couple of times. Someone said, "It's not homeless anymore. It's called being unhoused." Whatever it was, I was it. I didn't want anyone to know that part of my life. I was ashamed because I was living out of a suitcase, living in not a hotel, but a motel. I'd go from motel to motel. I'd still try to show up every day and smile and tell people that God does love us and He got us. No matter where we may find ourselves, He still is who He says that He is.

I remember going into the grocery stores and asking, "Can I use your bathroom?" Little did they know that sometimes, I'd go in there and I'd wash up. I was still trying to be an amazing thing. When you find yourself in situations like that, it's easy for people to say, "Why don't you go back home and stop dreaming so big? Why are you making your life so hard?" When God has His hand on your life, no matter what, you got to have that God's confidence. I talked about it on the show that your self-confidence is good, but when God has you in a place where you can only depend on Him, no matter what it looked like, you can only depend on Him.

I remember changing my clothes sometimes in my car and still crying, still wondering, "Did I do something so bad that You left me? Did I mess up bad and You don't want me here?" What I realized is that, even though I was in that place, He never left me. I would still read my scriptures. I would still show up sometimes on LA Talk Radio. I'd tell people how good He is and how kind He is. I'd interview my guests on the show, and I would still let them know that no matter where they find themselves, they can't give up. That was hard for me. I'm a medical doctor. I didn't have to go through that or so I thought.

When you believe God, when you take Him at His Word, I don't care. You got to learn from me on this one. I don't care how hard it is because it will get hard. There were days that I would think, "Perhaps I'll take my life now. I got a life insurance policy. Perhaps they've got a clause in there that'll still pay the family." I then got to thinking about my children, my grandbabies, and the man that walks with me. For every assignment in your life, God will always send someone to up courage you. He'll always send someone to hold you a ladder.

DTS 2 | Living Abundantly
Living Abundantly: For every assignment in your life, God will always send someone to hold you up on a ladder.

I have been so very blessed to have a man in my life that makes everything so right. I remember telling him, " I want to move. It's time for us to move to California." He was right there. When I told him that it was our time to go to another country, he didn't hesitate. He said, "You got a story to tell and you've got a relationship with our God. Let's strategically try to map this out." He never once said, "We couldn't do it."

I'm a dreamer. I dream real big and I dream in color. I believe those 66 books and that constitution of ours. I believe everything that it says. I believe that we are the head and not the tail. I believe that we can lend to nations and not borrow. For those who are, maybe you find yourself in a precarious situation and you're like, "How do I stop? How do I get from here to there?" Maybe you're tuning in and you are standing in a soup kitchen line. Maybe they've told you that Monday, you're evicted or May 1st, you got to pack your things up and leave. I need you to know that God has not forgotten.

The word abundant means exceedingly very highly beyond measure, more a quantity, so abundant as to be considerably more than what one could expect or anticipate. That's a promise. To live abundantly is to live in Christ. God knows that we need money down here. He knows that on this assignment money answered all things. What I've learned is, when I rely on Him for my living, when I cast every care upon Him because He cares for me, it activates my faith. It's an unseen declaration that with hope and confidence, no matter what you see, He got us. I do mean that. God will never leave you. Dare to trust Him.

God will never leave you. Dare to trust him.

Here are a couple of keys that will help you to live abundantly, exceedingly, very high, beyond measure, more, a quantity so abundant as to be considerably more than what one would expect or anticipate. That's abundant. Key 1) Everything about your life has already been orchestrated and planned. God, our Daddy, our manufacturer will never create and make a product without specific instructions for it to operate, no matter what environment it is in. What are you saying, Doc? If you find yourself in a state where you are not acting like you know that God has your back, repent. That simply means to change your mind. Everything happens in the mind. Get back in fellowship with him and he'll always welcome you back no matter where you find yourself.

Key 2) Forgive yourself for any past indiscretions, anything that you know you weren't supposed to be doing and you did it. Here's my hand here. There is absolutely nothing that you can do about your past other than to forgive yourself for it and forget it. If you've hurt someone, ask them to forgive you for the hurt that you've caused them, and then forget it. We got to learn from what we've done and do better. Don't spend your days in sorrow. You don't have time for that.

Key 3) Surround yourself with people who do not remind you of what you used to do, especially if you have not always represented the real you. I'm so serious about that. We have people that sometimes try to remind us of yesterday. Sometimes they don't mean any harm, but if you find yourself associating with folk that always trying to remind you of what you used to do, do this for me. Tell them you don't remember it. Tell them that you're truly grateful for all the ones that have extended forgiveness to you. Tell them that you've forgiven yourself and forgotten it. Them reminding you of something that you used to do is null and void. That'll get folks to close their mouths real fast.

Please know this. You are fearfully and wondrously made. You are the best that God has ever created. You are above and not below. You are a miracle. Your children are wonders. You're a winner. You are abundantly blessed. You are fantastic. You are very rich. You, my friend, are wealthy. People speak well of you behind your back. You are more than an overcomer. You are who God says that you are. That, my friend, is the truth. I wouldn't dare lie to you.

(470) 534-2216, if you'd like to speak to me after the show, I do answer. 450-5477, if you have a comment or want to make your contribution to this show. I do want to say thank you to everyone who showed up for me on this amazing 35th birthday. I got tickled on that one. I've got a 36-year-old daughter, but I'm 35. I got the Benjamin Button effect. Thank you so much. Good morning. You're on with Dr. Tongie.

Dr. Tongie, good morning. Hi, Marlon.

Hi. Good morning.

Happy birthday.

Thank you so very much.

If you were listening, you would have heard Marla shouting out, "Happy birthday to you," many times. I did call her and she did wish you a happy birthday, but she challenged me to say happy birthday to you.

Thank you so much, Marla.

I hope that it's wonderful.

It is.

I believe in you and I believe also in my creator. Thanks for all the knowledge and understanding, and for putting it in simple terms.

Thank you so very much. To God be the glory for your life. Thank you for that contribution.

Barbara here and Teresa is wishing you a happy birthday also. She's shouting. I love her.

Thank you very much. I love you.

It’s from my whole family. My daughter is at home at the moment. Everybody comes together to wish you a happy birthday. We'll be seeing you on Sunday.

You better believe it. The creek don't rise and the Lord stays the same. I'm there.

Enjoy the day. Bye.

Bye. Thank you. How cool is that?

That's wonderful. Thank you, Barbara. "Good morning, Dr. Tongie. Happy birthday to you. You are a prime example of what living life abundantly is. It is not a one-day thing. It's a process. It comes with many experiences, good and bad. Remember, it starts with a connection with the one who can make broken things whole again. Enjoy your birthday. Happy weekend. Magdalena.”

Thank you, Maggie. Good morning. You're here with Dr. Tongie and Marlon.

Good morning, Dr. Tongie and Marlon, how are you doing?

I’m doing fine. Thank you very much.

The first thing I want to say is thank you so much for choosing St. Lucia and choosing Kiss FM, and Heart FM.

Thank you.

Your story is touching. All I can say is thank you. That's for you on that specialty of yours. “Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday, Dr. Tongie. Happy birthday to you. May the good Lord bless you. May the good Lord bless you. May the good Lord bless and keep you. Happy birthday to an amazing Dr. Tongie.” Happy birthday to you.

Thank you so very much. I love you.

You're more than welcome. Thank you.

Thank you for calling.

How cool is that and that beautiful voice?

I'll do that if I could have sung like that.

Thank you so very much. You said for choosing St. Lucia. He placed me here. I was sent. I know that this is a part of my destination, my destiny. I am truly grateful to be here. You have no earthly idea to wake up every morning and get to do what I love doing in a country that is so receptive to who I am and who He is in me. You make my life so worth it. It was so worth taking a bath in a grocery store. It was so worth going from motel to motel. On the weekends, I get to stay at the Marriott. Thank you so very much for making my dreams come true. You have no idea. I wish I could express it with words, but I hope that I can live the life continuously that'll make my Daddy proud. I do.

I don't know about you. When it comes to me and my birthday, I make a big deal out of it without saying too much. What are you going to do?

I've got my boots on and I'm going dancing. I reflected on how great he is and the responsibility. I've got an assignment on my life and I got to live every day like it's my last. I'm going to be good to folk and be good to myself and eat some of this delicious cake. When I got out of the truck, I saw the principal from Anse la Raye RC Infant School. They've got this amazing cake for me and this card. Oftentimes, you don't know what you've done for people, but it's what you've done for me.

You’ve got an assignment in your life. You have to live every day like it's your last.

I told you once, and I'll tell you this until I'm blue in the face. I didn't come to be served. I came to serve. When someone takes time and blesses you like that, you know that you're in the right place. Thank you, Anse la Raye. Thank you, Principal Albert. Thank you, everyone, who's making my life and my dreams come true. Is that on the show? If the Lord says the same and the creek don't rise, we're going to do it again.

I'll be in Soufriere at an amazing resort. We've got some information out on social media. We're going to be inspiring and I'll probably be the one that'll be inspired by some amazing, beautiful ladies and young ladies that are overcoming fear.

Thank you. I do not take it for granted or lightly that you tuned in. I hope I've said something to inspire you. I hope you know that you are who He says that you are. If you find yourself in a precarious situation, give Him one more chance, and then another chance, and then another chance. See you soon.
